Long distance relationship questions
Long distance runs on conversation, and after the hundredth call "how was your day" starts to wear thin. These are written for the distance specifically: the ordinary things you're missing, what your day looks like over there, and what happens when the gap closes.
They work on a call, but they're even better by text across time zones. You each answer in your own time, then read the other's when you wake up.
The distance itself

- 2What do you miss that isn't the obvious thing?
- 3When did the distance feel smallest this week?
- 4What's something you wish I could see where you are?
Closing the gap
- 5What's the first thing you want to do when we're in the same room?
- 6Where should we meet next, if money were no object?
- 7What would a perfect ordinary Saturday together look like?

Who you are apart
- 15What are you proud of that has nothing to do with me?
- 16What's your life like when I'm not the subject?

One of these, every morning, for the two of you
Stitch sends you and your person the same question each day. You each answer on your own, and neither of you sees the other's answer until you've both written yours. Then you see them side by side. It takes about a minute.

How to get honest answers
- Both of you answer.A question only one person answers is an interview.
- Answer before you hear theirs.Otherwise the second answer is mostly a reaction to the first.
- One at a time. One good question a day beats thirty in a row. The list will keep.
